It’s a standard now, but only in theory …
Having BMS automation alone is not enough. I analyzed dozen or even several hundred buildings in Poland. From the top and the largest ones to the small and worn-out ones, where only 1 building had a really refined box automation – a building built by Skanska, Of course, there were a few things that could be improved there, but this is what development is all about. Based on many years of experience, I present a condensed concept of areas for improving and measuring the intelligence of buildings. I invite you to cooperate in specific areas of building intelligence.

Determining the level of building intelligence – IQ Building Certification

BREEAM, LEED, WELL etc. certifications rightly reward the use of energy-efficient solutions and high-quality ecological / low-emission materials. However, the mere application of energy-efficient solutions is not enough. It is necessary to rationally select and configure these solutions, especially in the field of automation. Current certification markets are not focused on building automation.

For new uildings

the activity in many points is convergent with commissioning and partly with BIM, but focuses on the issues of automation and rational use of infrastructure as well as data collected in building systems. In view of the data, of course, we consider the building as a whole, instead of focusing on individual parts of the installation without considering the cooperation of existence with each other. For existing buildings

First of all, it is important to assess the use of the potential of the existing infrastructure. Consideration of the recommendation to make minor corrections and improvements mainly in the area of ​​algorithms. For example, thanks to the Enabler DSR of the VPPLant company, which I am a co-creator, you can introduce many improvements in the operation of BMS automation without the need for the participation of BMS programmers with whom there is often a problem.
